Oops!-In 2007, the U.S. Wireless consumer market passed 243 million subscribers (just over 82% of our population).
-In 2008, in the U.S. alone, an average of more than one BILLION text messages are sent per day.

-In 1996, Nokia’s Communicator, the 1st “web-enabled” SmartPhone launched.
-In 2007, over 798 million people around the world accessed the internet.
-In 2007, the number of mobile phone subscriptions in the world passed 3.3 billion or over half of the planet’s human population.
An interesting insight:
The bottom line is… Wireless is here to stay! The largest growth segment in the industry is ages ten to sixteen. The question is what can be done or offered to earn greater market share?
The answer is simple. Consistently offer the latest, cutting-edge and desirable feature-rich phones and services that serve the functional, educational and social needs of a target demographic that strongly values and desires these capabilities, and, most importantly can afford them. Our target demographic wants to be “COOL” and our wireless offerings are... as COOL as it gets!
The Future of Wireless:
As exciting as the “Wireless Industry” may seem today… you ain’t seen nothing yet! The global standard for wireless communications in now “3G.” Beta testing and roll-out are already underway for the future of wireless “living.” It’s called “4G” and it will, literally, be life changing. Imagine using your wireless device: as your credit/debit card; to start your car remotely on cold days, for video conferencing with a loved one or business associate; as a training, tracking and/or testing tool for business or personal skill assessment and development; to remotely set your Tivo or DVR, to vote… the list goes on and on. These aren’t “maybe somedays;” these and many more exciting features are being developed and tested as we speak. In fact, it is estimated that 2008/2009 investment of over $67,000,000,000 was and will be spent by our federal government and many of the world’s largest businesses and institutions in developing this communications technology for mass market use in the near future.
